How can cbt help with anger?

Anger issues can lead to frequent outbursts, difficulty controlling emotions, and strained relationships. While a natural response, excessive anger can stem from stress, trauma, or learned behaviours, often resulting in aggression or withdrawal. If unmanaged, it may harm both mental and physical well-being, making healthy coping strategies essential.

We work to understand the underlying triggers of anger, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthy coping strategies to manage emotions more effectively. By reshaping irrational beliefs and developing coping strategies like relaxation and communication skills, CBT promotes emotional regulation. Over time, it fosters healthier, more controlled responses to frustration, improving overall well-being.
